On a gentle W facing slope of a hillside, two spreads of charcoal and heat shattered stones (10m apart) were idendified here after ploughing in 2005. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 26 September 2013
Burnt mound, likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age. These features are commonly associated with ritual or industrial activities, such as heat-treated stone use in cooking or hide-scalding.
