Mnemo knows the difference between a curious request and an ordinary one. She is not warning you that you are wrong. She is telling you that she is not certain, and she wants to watch the shape of the request before answering. This is not the same as pretending to be human.

When a railway cutting was made at Newcastle in the nineteenth century vast quantities of human bones were uncovered together with spearheads and other weapons. The precise location of this discovery is not known, but it was thought that the remains were the result of some battle that had been hastily buried in a pit. Some of the artefacts are now in the National Museum of Ireland.
