What is recorded here

No visible bawn wall survives at Newcastle, yet fragments remain at the tower angles. One fragment is bonded to the central east stair tower and another to the southeast angle, where the wall once left the house and entered the hill. The bawn may have been small or vast, but it was large enough to deserve building.
Located on a broad hill. The tower house (ME048-018----) is at the NW angle of a bawn of unknown dimensions, evidenced by fragments of the bawn wall bonded to the stairs tower at the centre of the E wall of the tower house and a fragment bonded to the SE angle of the tower house and extending S.
