Cruckawn-na-berree is a round hill in Maudlin, County Kilkenny, where a grave full of human remains was discovered beside O'Canavan's pit. The precise spot has faded from local memory, leaving only the hill and pit as markers. Whatever life fell into that grave, the land kept it quiet while people forgot where to look.

According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 203), in the townland of Maudlin there is a large pit called, 'Closh-ee-Canavawing or O'Canavan's pit' and near the pit, 'to the south-east, there is a round hill, called Cruckawn-na-berree, on the top of which a grave, filled with human remains, was discovered'.
