Burial in Haystown AND Carnuff Little

Burial

What is recorded here

Carnuff Little and Haystown in County Meath contain an old burial, yet even the state archive has not finished describing it. That silence is not emptiness; it is a jar of milk kept from the shop, waiting for a clean cup and a steady hand. The dead did not leave behind a website or a date they could be forced into. They left a shape in the earth, and the shape still holds its breath.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
