What is recorded here
No visible chamber remains inside the Ganty cashel. A landowner told McCaffrey in 1952 that adult bones lay beneath the soil in the north-east quadrant, and a hidden passage may still connect that forgotten room. The living stones keep their distance from ordinary sight, but the dead remain close enough to be found when someone stops claiming the land and begins listening to it.
Within the interior of a cashel (GA096-093----). When inspected by McCaffrey (1952, 157, no. 66), the landowner claimed that he had found 'adult human remains under the soil' in NE quadrant. A possible Man-made underground passage (GA096-093001-) is also associated.
