What is recorded here
Situated in gently undulating pasture, with good views to N, E and W. A field report of 1977 describes that according to local information, burials were found to E or SE of castle (WM037-007----). These consisted of skeletons which were found under boulders and were investigated by Professor S.P. O Ríordáin. The precise location of these burials has not been identified.
