The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Numerous slab-lined burials found in association with Man-made underground passage (ME033-002----) uncovered in excavation by P. D. Sweetman. Earliest burials predate Man-made underground passage and latest date possibly to eighteenth century. (RMAHS 1982-3, 42-57)
