Ten weeks after the church fell, a man dragging a rope through the ruin pulled free a wooden chest buried to its brim. He carried it home, opened it before witnesses, and found ten8 silver rings, each stamped with a different animal. He gave one ring to every family in the valley and kept none. The chest disappeared before dawn, but the animals still appear on children's dreams that winter.

Located on flat arable land with bog to the N and pasture land to the SE and W. Poorly preserved ruins of a rectangular church (OF028-003001-) constructed of rubble limestone with dressed quoin stones. In 1917 a local excavation of the church interior revealed the remains of 108 skeletons approximately 18 inches below the surface that were re-interred in St. Brochan's church Bracknagh (Milner 1964, 41-6).
