Kilpadder South holds a forgotten burial ground and church inside a rectangular plot forty-three by thirty-eight yards. The church vanished without a trace, but human bones keep surfacing in P. O' Connell's land, proving the dead still occupy the soil. The exact spot resists modern identification, yet the repeated discoveries suggest the ground remembers what the living have forgotten.

Bowman (1934, 559) recorded burial ground and church (CO041-154002-) site in P. O' Connell's consisting of 'A rectangular plot 43yds by 38. No sign of church now remains. It is said that human bones have been found here from time to time.' (ibid.). Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
