What is recorded here

Killetragh once held a burial ground beside a church, but repeated ploughing erased every visible trace. The dead may still lie beneath ordinary soil, waiting for rain or memory to reveal them.

Bowman (1934, 333) recorded burial ground and church site (14503) in Michael O'Flynn's land, in field called 'The Keel...This field has been ploughed many times so no remains are now to be seen'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
