What is recorded here
Dromoland is a burial ground in County Clare, Ireland, where the dead have rested beneath open sky since before written memory. The land holds more than soil; it carries the weight of every life returned to it. People may have walked this ground in joy or fear, knowing their bodies would rejoin the earth that first shaped them.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
