Derrymihin West holds a circular burial ground where the entire interior serves death rather than life. Grave markers cluster toward the east, suggesting people laid their dead facing the sunrise or simply following the shape of the land. The distinction between a farmyard and a funeral place may have blurred there, turning everyday movement into repeated witness for the vanished.
