Dellaga is a vanished church name preserved only in a graveyard, recorded in 1839 with no building left to explain it. The field survey noted the paradox plainly: a sacred place reduced to a burial ground, its identity waiting for a structure that never appeared. That absence is the shape of the story, a church remembered through death rather than worship.

OS Field Book of 1839 refers to 'Dellaga Church, the name of the graveyard only, there being no church' (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 3, 214). Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
