Bullock Island is one of thirty-two wooded islands in Lough Key, County Roscommon, Ireland. It shares the water with Castle Island, Stag Island and Drumman's Island, while the lake itself stretches five kilometres long and three kilometres wide. The King family acquired the surrounding land during the 17th-century Cromwellian Settlement, renaming the area Rockingham and building a mansion there in 1809. Bullock Island remains a quiet green mark inside that old lake, visible from the road above Boyle and still caught up in the story of Loch Cé.
