One of three bullaun stones in a rocky area at the foot of a marked E-facing slope. A large earthfast boulder with a single oval basin (0.46m x 0.36m; D 0.18m) in the upper surface. A 3-basin bullaun (WI021-019----) lies c. 40 to the NW with the grass-covered foundations a possible convent (WI021-020----) between them. Another bullaun stone (WI021-091002-) lies c. 80m to the N. Likely dating to the early Christian or later prehistoric period, bullaun stones were often used for ritual purposes, such as the preparation of holy water or as sites of pilgrimage. Their association with Christian saints in later folklore suggests a possible adaptation of earlier sacred sites.
