Detached multiple-bay single-storey former isolation hospital building, built c. 1880, having double-height central roof with clerestory windows, full-width single-storey addition to south elevation having entrance porch with gablet over. Pitched slate roof, hipped roof to south addition. Red brick walls. Square-headed openings.
Associated with the former Royal Military Hospital on the west side of Infirmary Road, this forms part of an interesting group with the other isolation hospital and barrack buildings in the immediate vicinity.
