Remains of disused hump-backed road bridge (Wth 5m) over mountain stream to SW of Shrone Hill. Semicircular arch (Wth 2.45; H 2.6m) with coarsely cut voussoirs. Originally carried the old road from Adrigole to Glengarriff, known locally as "Cromwell's road". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
