Single-arch concrete railway bridge, built c.1910, carrying Castleblayney, Keady and Armagh (CK&A) branch of Great Northern Railway over river. Elliptical arch with cement-rendered abutments and spandrel walls. Red brick consecutive rowlock course voussoirs, and red brick in facer bond to soffits. Low concrete parapet walls with moulded concrete copings. Located in field north of road and Corratanty Model Farm.

The Castleblayney, Keady and Armagh (CK&A) branch of the Great Northern Railway was completed in 1910. The Keady to Castleblayney section of the CKA was closed in April 1923 following Partition in 1922, hastening the railways' decline. This bridge is of architectural interest, and is typical of the concrete bridges embellished with red brick detailing seen on the County Monaghan stretch of the former CK&A railway. This well-composed bridge is representative of the skill in engineering in the early twentieth century, with brick voussoirs enhancing the elegant, impressively tall, arch. The former railway bridge carried the embanked railway line over the river, and is an aesthetically-pleasing structure, serving as a physical reminder of the extent and social and industrial importance of the railway network in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
