Single-arch stone rail bridge, built c.1845, carrying Cabra Road over former Midland Great Western Railway line. Ashlar limestone parapet wall with dressed limestone string course and dressed limestone coping. Elliptical arch with rock-faced limestone voussoirs. Snecked limestone wing walls.

This well-built rail bridge is part of a group of rail bridges over the former Midland Great Western railway line between Broadstone Station and Liffey Junction. The combination of snecked, rock-faced and ashlar limestone adds interest to its otherwise functional design. It is a good example of nineteenth-century engineering, and significant in terms of infrastructural developments of the period.
