Single-arch cast-iron railway bridge over river, opened 1865. Closed, 1963. Rock-faced limestone ashlar piers with rock-faced cut-limestone coping supporting riveted cast-iron girder span having cast-iron parapets with cast-iron coping. Sited spanning Dinin River with overgrown grass banks to river.

A modest-scale railway bridge representing an important element of the civil engineering heritage of County Kilkenny on account of the associations with the development of the Waterford and Maryborough [Portlaoise] Branch extension of the Great Southern and Western Railway line by the Kilkenny Junction Railway Company. Although having been decommissioned in the mid to late twentieth century the bridge survives substantially intact as a picturesque feature gradually being reclaimed by the surrounding landscape.
