Double-arch bridge, built c.1860, crossing Abhainn an tSealgáin [Shallogan River], having segmental arches with rusticated stone piers, voussoirs and triangular cut-waters, latter with smooth-rendered copings, and partially rendered soffit. Rubble walls and parapets, latter with large rusticated coping stones. Railway bridge adjacent to west.

This attractive bridge crossing Abhainn an tSealgáin [Shallogan River] has well-executed rusticated stonework to the voussoirs and cut-waters, a testament to the craftsmen who constructed it in the middle of the nineteenth century. The contrast between the rubble walling and dressed work is pleasant. The setting is enhanced by the nearby railway bridge.
