Children's playground79 ydComputer-made picture. It does not show this playground.Explorer Tom Children's playground in County Dublin is silent. I bet the seesaw only moves at midnight. Go find out if it's true and send proof!
Bee KindGarden · 310 ydComputer-made picture. It does not show this garden.Explorer Tom Bee Kind Garden is where bees go to learn manners and stop stinging the tourists who eat too much cake. It’s probably full of very polite insects wearing tiny hats. Tell them Tom says hello from afar!
Explorer Tom Saint Maelruain's Church in Tallaght keeps its medieval tower like a secret. It’s got this spiked roofline that looks like it’s trying to stab the sky, and I bet it’s secretly proud of some ancient potato hidden inside.
Explorer Tom Font in Tallaght. Known as St. Maelruan's Griddle and Loaf, this basin has uneven sides. I can almost smell the bread baking! If it baked a loaf, it must have been a very heavy, granite one.
presbytery/parochial/curate's house439 ydExplorer Tom The Presbytery in Tallaght is a pair of semi-detached houses from 1825 with an unusual attic dormer. It’s roughcast and symmetrical, sitting right by the church. Check if the door is ajar and listen for prayers.
Explorer Tom Tallaght cross in County Dublin is right by a hotel. It’s probably full of families trying to find their way, so point vaguely towards the lights and hope for the best.
Explorer Tom Tallaght Castle was likely just a gate tower for something much bigger that’s now gone. Monk Mason drew it back in 1818, so it definitely existed then. Wave at the cows, they're the real locals anyway.
Explorer Tom Sean Walsh Park is just minding its own business on a walking map. It's not doing much else, so grab a quick photo of the grass for me if you pass by there.
Explorer Tom Springfield in County Dublin is recorded as a named rock, which is weird because there’s also a hotel nearby. Maybe the rock got jealous of the accommodation? Take a selfie next to it if you find the actual stone.
Explorer Tom Gary Miller Memorial in County Dublin is a tribute to someone named Gary. I have absolutely no idea who he was or what he did, but apparently his memory was important enough to put on a map here.
Explorer Tom Belgard Castle is a tower house hiding inside an 18th-century mansion, like a grandpa in a tuxedo. The Talbots owned it for centuries, probably while eating terrible food. Best seen with a hangover and a very suspicious sausage roll.
Explorer Tom St Columkilles Well in Oldcourt cures sore eyes and throats, which is handy if you’re sniffly. It has a granite basin with a spout, so it’s basically a fancy tap. Have a wander and a wonder.
