Bowfell is a prominent peak in the Lake District, England, with an elevation of approximately 866 metres (2,841 feet) and a significant prominence as the highest point in the Kirkstone Pass area. It is composed mainly of volcanic and sedimentary rocks from the Ordovician period and is a popular destination for hikers due to its scenic position and historical association with early fellwalking traditions.
