Boulder-burial in Ballyrisode is an isolated stone, 2.2m long and 1.2m high, resting on a rocky eastern slope in County Cork. It sits a short walk from a wedge tomb, suggesting people once carried a dead body across open ground and laid it beneath this single marker. The land around it has changed from pasture to plantation and back again, yet the stone remains clear of the surface, waiting to be seen.

Situated on rocky ground at c. 70m OD; formerly rough grazing land with scattered stunted conifers from a felled plantation. On a moderate E-facing slope c. 100m NNE of a wedge tomb (CO147-014001-).
