Blackhill House in Blackhills got a glass porch more than a century after it was built. A grand age to discover you enjoy watching people struggle with the gate while pretending you haven’t seen them.
Detached three-bay two-storey late-Georgian house, c. 1810, incorporating fabric of earlier house to rear with wings. Renovated, c. 1920, with projecting glazed porch added. Now in use as nursing home.
