Large 19th century slate quarry adjacent to Clonakilty-Skibbereen road. Chimney (H c. 9m) atop ridge, square stone base (Wth 2.45m; H 4m); upper portion circular in plan with brick top. Further structural remains in vicinity of chimney. Part of cast iron wheel (diam. 3.05m) on roadside to SW.
