What is recorded here

Inner and outer octagonal castellated ashlar limestone piers, c.1850, with sweeps of cast-iron railings on limestone plinth.
The gates piers and railings, adjacent to the the fomer gate lodge of Bellmount House, are part of a group of sites associated with the demesne. The castellated stone caps on the piers is an interesting design and adds to the overall architectural heritage of the former demesne.
