Belmont Castle stands as a Bronze Age cairn and cist in Perth and Kinross, marked on the official map with one-metre accuracy. The stones have watched the land for millennia, holding dead and memory long before written records. People may have gathered there to honour the departed, feed the flames, or simply sit with the weight of time. The castle name comes later, but the cairn is older, patient, and still present.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Belliduff, Belmont Castle as Cairn (bronze Age), Cist (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
