What is recorded here
Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c.1780. The house is finished in roughcast render and has distinctive curved ends to the front elevation. To the north rear there are later returns. The panelled front door and timber and projecting porch are both replacement and are flanked by plain granite pilasters. The window openings are flat-headed with six and nine over six timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished with natural slate. The house is set within extensive grounds.
A distinctive and well preserved late Georgian house. Although not unique the curved ends give a very distinctive appearance.
