What is recorded here
One fourth of a mile south of the church, a round bawn still stands where men and women once lived. It is not a hall or a temple, but a home made visible in stone. The chamber is small enough to know by heart and old enough to have watched several lifetimes pass.
Formerly located W of the towerhouse (Dix 1897, 217-8). This was described in the 19th century as a free-standing structure which is circular in form (Diam.4.57m, H 1.07m) (Clinton, M, 2005, 32-3).
