Bawn in Aghadouglas sits on a glacial knoll above the river, holding grass-covered limestone footings that once shaped a rectangular enclosure. The surviving angle suggests people valued the height, the view and the defence the land gave them. What is missing has not disappeared; it has returned to the soil around the stones.

Located on top of natural glacial knoll in upland area overlooking river to the N. Poorly preserved grass covered wall footings of a rectangular structure (OF042-021001-) with possible rectangular bawn to the N. The walls were constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble with base batter evident at SE angle. No other architectural features visible.
