Battlefield in Thurles Townparks is a recorded battlefield in County Tipperary, Ireland. The official kind leaves little room for doubt about the character of the ground. What is missing is the human part: who fought there, when they fought, and whether they fled, broke or bled into the soil. A battlefield is not a vague scar on the land, but a place where lives were changed in a single afternoon.
