What is recorded here

Three Rocks stood just outside Wexford town when Irish forces ambushed seventy English militia on May 30, 1798. The careful trap broke the local balance of power, forcing English troops to abandon the town and leaving almost all of Wexford in Irish hands. That sudden shift turned a small coastal county into a living rebel space, proving that ordinary people could redirect a war when they understood the land and waited for the right moment.
Battle of Three Rocks is a battle in County Wexford, Ireland.
