Battle Of The Three Rocks is a memorial in County Wexford, Ireland. Perhaps United Irishmen bled onto those rocks during the 1798 uprising, their bodies swallowed by the tide before anyone could bury them. Maybe the 1998 monument exists because forgetting that violence would have erased the people who gave their lives for freedom. Imagine standing at the water's edge, listening for the drowned echoes of men who believed the world could be remade.
