What is recorded here
In pasture, located on level gently elevated ground, in an area of undulating terrain. Low, circular grass-covered earthen platform (diam. 13m NE-SW; 13m NW-SE) defined by a levelled bank. The bank appears as a well-defined scarp (ext. H 0.3-0.35m) with a very low internal rim (Wth c. 2m) which is almost flush with internal ground level. The scarp is highest (ext. H 0.45m at W) at W–NW, and lowest at NNE-E. At E there is a very low area or gap (Wth 2m). A slight dip in ground level is evident outside the bank at NE but it is not possible to be certain if this is evidence of an encircling fosse. The interior is level and featureless.
