What is recorded here

Two barrows in Annagh, County Limerick: one a mapped oval ring ditch beside a stream, the other a possible buried mound in wet pasture near a cairn. The first has survived centuries of farming as a faint line in grass and shadow; the second may have vanished beneath water and soil. One is a boundary drawn by human hands, the other a shape remembered only through lists and imagination.

In wet pasture 140m SE of a watercourse. Cairn (LI049-213----) lies 140m to NW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Possible barrow listed as ‘Ballyfroota 4’ by Grogan (1989, 215).
