In a slight hollow in flat pastureland. A well-preserved circular earthen mound (D 13.8m, H 1.9m) with a flat-topped summit and stepped profile. It has been partially dug into at NNE. Stepped barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its stepped profile and circular earthen mound indicate a significant regional funerary tradition in Ireland.
