A circular area (c. 11m E-W; 11.7m N-S) enclosed by a fosse (Wth c. 3m) which is evident as a broad band of waterlogged ground supporting a dense growth of rushes and irises. A stony external flat-topped bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.2m) is evident all round. A possible entrance (Wth 1.35m) at ESE is marked by a low section of the bank and a corresponding dry section of the fosse. There is a gap (Wth 3m) in the bank at E. The overall diameter of the barrow is 20m N-S and 19.7m E-W. It is conjoined at W to a bowl-barrow (SL047-048002-). A ditch barrow (SL047-048003-) lies c. 14m to W and another (SL047-04804-) c. 30m to ESE.
