In undulating pasture 30m S of the townland boundary with Glen. Located in the centre of a cluster of eleven ring-barrows concentrated in an area extending 350m N-S by 80m E-W. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 59; AP 4/3681). Visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 28/06/2018 as a small circular shaped cropmark. Ring-barrow, Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Part of a significant barrow cemetery, indicating a ritual or funerary landscape of communal importance.
