In pasture, in rolling countryside. Slightly raised circular area (H 0.25m; 5.1m N-S; 5.7m E-W) enclosed by shallow fosse (D 0.15m). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 468) as 'Levelled. Diameter of surrounding fence 34ft. Diam. of base of mound 18 feet'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
