Bowman (1934, 495) recorded levelled 'tumulus' on D. Hickey's land; 'Diameter of surrounding fence, and base of mound 41ft and 25ft'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
