What is recorded here

In pasture, c. 30m E of a small stream. Not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. Listed in the SMR (1991) and the RMP (1997) on the basis of information from a local source, who noted a circular enclosure or possible ringbarrow here. A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its significance lies in its potential association with early burial practices and landscape use in an area with limited recorded archaeological features.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
