Situated about 150m S of the site of a standing stone (WI027-009----), on a gentle NW-facing slope. Low circular mound (diam. 19m; H 0.45m), in which a cist containing an inhumation was found in the mid 1920s. (Price 1934, 46-7) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
