What is recorded here

In pasture 75m E of townland boundary with Ballynamona. One of fourteen barrows (LI041-032001/013-). Enclosure (LI041-031----) lies 45m to the SW and a barrow cemetery (LI049-072001/026-) lies immediately to S and SSW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified in 1936 during a survey of the area undertaken by Ó Ríordáin (1936, 175). Earthwork visible as a raised circulars-shaped platform (diam. c. 15m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
