Barrow is a lost mound in Ballyvorisheen, County Cork, where a farmer broke through a burial chamber before 1858 and exposed two skeletons beneath a large cover stone. The mound has since vanished under agricultural work, leaving only a featureless hillock in pasture while two neighbouring barrows still mark the same hillside. What was buried there is gone from sight, but the cluster of mounds suggests the place mattered to the people who shaped it.

Fitzgerald (1858, 13) mentions 'two large ones (i.e. tumuli) were destroyed on the lands of Knockane'; one of these indicated on 1935 OS 6-inch map (CO077-013----), exact location of second example not known.
