In pasture, atop hillock. Levelled; according to Fitzgerald (1858, 12), farmer, while levelling mound, discovered cist with large cover stone containing two human skeletons. One of three tumuli in same townland; second (CO077-00901-) lies 150m to WSW and third (CO077-00801-) lies 500m to SW.
