In wet pasture, 85m NE of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Knockaunavlyman. Barrow (LI049-236001--) lies 15m to the W and barrow (LI049-236003-) 12m to SE. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Possible barrow listed as ‘Newtown 5’ by Grogan (1989, 244). Faint outline visible on OSi orthoimage taken between 2005-12.
