Barrow is a five-metre ditch barrow hidden in reclaimed pasture beside the Morningstar River. It resisted every human map until cameras dropped from the sky and pulled its circle out of the green. The land kept its own record, waiting for eyes clever enough to read the shape of what they had forgotten.

In reclaimed pasture, 40m S of Morningstar River, Milltown House lies 40m to the S. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 43; AP 5/2069) as a ring-barrow. Monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 5m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its identification from aerial photography highlights the importance of such surveys in uncovering unmarked prehistoric monuments.
