What is recorded here

Barrow is a circular ditch about fifteen metres wide in Kildare grassland, joined to another ditch-barrow at its southwest edge. The soil records both circles, though no stone or mound remains for a hand to touch. Perhaps people buried someone there, or perhaps water carved the land before human memory began. Either way the ground kept a shape, and the shape still points back at the sky.

Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its presence indicates a burial or ceremonial landscape feature, common in prehistoric Britain.
